GALAXY JUNIORS

The Galaxy Juniors Presented by Dignity Health program is an exciting, non-competitive opportunity for your child to learn the great game of soccer while developing physically, socially, and mentally! Our classes are fast-paced, energy-burning, and fun to watch. Children will grow in their confidence as an individual and as an athlete.

WHAT: Weekly 50-minute soccer class
AGES: 1.5-7 (boys and girls)
SKILL LEVEL: Beginner
REGISTRATION COST: An average of $172 per season; final price depends on how many classes per season!
MEMBERSHIP: Registration requires an additional $25 annual membership fee which includes a Galaxy Juniors Presented by Dignity Health kit.
DISCOUNTS: Register for an additional day of classes and receive 10% off the additional class fee. Register two (2) players at once and receive 10% off the additional class fee.

All LA Galaxy Youth soccer programs are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and positive environment for all participants, families, coaches, and staff. Please review the LA Galaxy Youth Programs Code of Conduct. By registering for, and continuing participation in, LA Galaxy Youth programs, it implies consent to these standards.

PARENT & CHILD PARTICIPATION CLASSES

1.5-2.5 Years

These classes explore basic soccer and movement skills while utilizing parachute activities, bubbles, lots of goal scoring and cone towers!

2-3 Years

Parents and kids, led by one of our instructors, play organized games together to develop listening skills, balance, ball skills and foot-eye coordination.

2.5-3.5 Years

This class is designed to assist children in the transition to a coach-led class. It will follow a curriculum that is more closely aligned with the 3 and 4 year olds class.
PARENT AS NEEDED CLASSES
This is Coach led with a “parent as needed” – this allows and asks parents to be on the soccer field with their child when necessary.

3-4 Years | Beginner

This class is designed to assist children in the transition to a coach-led class. It will follow a curriculum that is more closely aligned with the 3 and 4 year olds class.

3-4 Years | Intermediate

This class is designed for three and four year olds who have participated in at least one season of Galaxy Juniors previously. These classes will focus on more complex soccer skills such as passing and receiving. The concept of scrimmaging will also be introduced.
COACH LED CLASSES

4-7 Years

This level provides independent classes for kids, with only coaches and players on the field. More structured games and exercises will be implemented. All experience levels are welcome!
